PUBLIC NOTICE COMMENT PERIOD: August 20, 2024 - September 19, 2024
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator - Region 1 is providing notice that the Pleasant Point Passamaquoddy Tribe has applied to be treated in a similar manner as a State for the purpose of obtaining grant funds under Section 105 of the Clean Air Act. This notice provides an opportunity to comment on the Tribe's jurisdictional assertion, as described by the Tribe in its application. The Tribe's trust lands are located in Washington County of the State of Maine. The comment period closes on September 19, 2024.
