To our neighbors, We are adding one more area to our herbicide treatment list using drones this year, and extending the time we will be treating two other areas.
Locations: Additional: About 570 acres in Whitneyville and around 20 acres directly across the town line in Centerville. This area lies west of Rt 192 and approximately 2 to 4.25 miles north of Rt 1A.
Extending time: Approximately 90 acres in Addison west of Route 187 at its intersection with McMann Rd. Nearly 1,340 acres in Jonesboro off of the end of the Guptill's Golden Road and nearly 100 acres across the town line in Centerville, all of it lying south of the Downeast Sunrise Trail.
Range of Dates: 9/26/2024 - 10/14/2024
Purpose: Conifer release/Hardwood Control
Pesticide: Nufarm Credit 41 Extra (EPA Reg # 71368-20) & Loveland Mad Dog (EPA Reg # 34704-889)
Public Precautions: Do not enter for 48 hours after spraying. Do not eat berries or any other plants after spraying.
