NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF ORONO
The Orono Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 5:00pm in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 59 Main Street to consider and hear public comments on the following:
1. Victualer's Licenses for the following businesses:
Big Shoe, Inc, d/b/a Subway, 53 Main Street.
Big Shoe, Inc, d/b/a Subway, 10 Stillwater Street.
2. A proposed Land Use Ordinance amendment to the following Sections: 18-106: Schedule of Uses; 18-130: Excavation, removal and filling of lands. The purpose of the amendment is to carve out an exemption to the standards of Sec. 18-130 for projects in the UNIV Zoning District where the use or proposal would not otherwise trigger Site Plan Review under Sec. 18-162.
