TOWN OF ORONO
PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Orono Planning Board will hold public hearings on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chamber. A copy of any applications can be requested through the Planning Department or found online at orono.org/464/Planning-Board-Items-Under-Consideration. The public hearing will be held to act on each of the following:
1. A minor subdivision application by M & M Truck Sales, Inc. to amend the Riverside Estates Subdivision Plan in order to create three additional lots with frontage on Union Street (Tax Map 31-2 Lot 1-9) in the MDR zoning district. (Tabled from previous meeting)
2. A minor site plan amendment application by the Town of Orono to add an approximately 320 sq. ft. "burn cell" training building on the existing training area at 12 Putnam Road (Tax Map 9 Lot 2) in the F&A Zoning District.
