In accordance with 5 M.R.S.A 6200 et seq., the Land for Maine's Future Board will vote on a proposal to allocate funds for Maine Farmland Trust's purchase of an agricultural conservation easement on lands in Thorndike. The project lands are identified as part of Thorndike Tax Map 9, Lots 9, 10, and part of 15, and Tax Map 7, Lots 7.11-7.12, and is a portion of the land identified in Waldo County Registry of Deeds in Book 758, Page 384, Book 1597, Page 276, Book 1597, Page 278, and Book 3918, Page 320.
Public comment on this acquisition will be accepted at the LMF's Board meeting on November 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Marquardt Bldg. Room 118. This meeting will be in person and online; link to be posted at https://www.maine.gov/dacf/lmf/agendas.shtml. Written comments on the proposal accepted until 4:30 PM on November 18, 2024.
