On August 11, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Gambling Control Board Conference Room, Department of Public Safety, 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta, Maine, The Maine State Harness Racing Commission will hold a hearing pursuant to 8 M.R.S. § 271 and Commission Rule, Chapter 19, Section 4. The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony on a request to re-open the Race Dates and Licensing Hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony relative to the conditions for licensing and a request by Davric Corporation, doing business as Scarborough Downs, to extend its license through the 2017 season. Automatic intervenor status has been granted to a number of entities. Other persons desiring to intervene may apply by filing a request with the Commission in accordance with 5 M.R.S. § 9054 and Commission Rule, Chapter 21, Section 7. Applications for intervention will be accepted until the commencement of the hearing.
