EMERGENCY FOOD/SHELTER FUNDING AVAILABLE

Penobscot County has been awarded $52,742 in federal funds, made available through the U.S. DHS/FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSP) Phase 38 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs. Applicants must be private voluntary nonprofits with voluntary Boards or government units eligible to receive Federal funds, have accounting systems, practice non-discrimination, and deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs. DUNS & FEIN numbers are required. For more information or to receive an application, contact United Way of Eastern Maine at info@unitedwayem.org. Applications must be received by 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
