The Board of Selectmen, Town of Kenduskeag, is accepting bids for the purchase of the town's interest in 2 (two) tax-acquired properties. Each bid must be in writing, in a sealed envelope marked "Tax Sale Bid" on the outside. Any person wishing to bid on more than one property must submit a separate bid for each one. All bids must be received at the Town Office no later than 5:00 pm on June 15, 2021. Late bids will not be considered or opened. Each bid must include: bidder's name, mailing address, phone number, a deposit in the form of a certified check, money order or cash in the amount of $100. Deposits will be returned to any unsuccessful bidder. Each successful bidder shall have 10 (ten) business days from the date of the bid acceptance in which to complete the purchase. Each property will be conveyed by a quitclaim deed without covenants and the purchaser shall file the deed at the Penobscot Registry of Deeds. In the event that a successful bidder fails, for any reason, to complete the purchase in the time stated, the bid acceptance is void and the deposit is forfeited to the Town. The Board of Selectmen may thereafter negotiate a sale of the property with any or all unsuccessful bidders. The properties for sale, tax maps and other public information may be viewed at the Kenduskeag Town Office during its regular business hours. At the Town of Winterport's June 10th open Town Meeting, there will be a Warrant Article pertaining to the Winterport Water District that will ask residents to approve assisting the District in placing debt onto the Town's tax base to assist in funding required upgrades to the District's Wastewater Treatment Plant. This is being asked in order for the District to take advantage of a more than $12 million dollar grant that is desperately needed for these required upgrades. An in-person meeting for this issue will take place at the Union Meeting House, 177 Main Street on Wednesday, May 19th at 6pm. The District will also be setting up Zoom access prior to the meeting for those who do not want to attend the in-person meeting. This access information will be available on the Town's Web site or available upon request from the District. We encourage residents to attend or participate in this meeting. NOTICE OF DATA INCIDENT

On April 5, 2021, CaptureRx informed Walmart of a security incident that affected a hosting service used by CaptureRx in connection with a pharmacy benefits program. That program is administered by CaptureRx for clinics and pharmacies. CaptureRx identified unusual activity involving certain electronic files, immediately began an investigation, and worked quickly to assess the security of its systems. On February 19, 2021, the investigation determined that certain files were accessed and acquired on February 6, 2021 without authorization. Walmart's information systems were not affected by this incident. CaptureRx determined that the information included patient names, dates of birth, and prescription information such as prescription number and service dates. CaptureRx maintained the affected information in connection with a pharmacy benefits program CaptureRx administers for many health care providers, such as clinics and pharmacies. CaptureRx has posted additional information about the incident at [font=font81491][u]https://www.capturerx.com/data-incident/[/u][/font]. Walmart's systems were not impacted. However, we will be reviewing CaptureRx's security practices and monitoring the circumstances surrounding this event.
