A public hearing on the proposed State Plan for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
(LIHEAP) for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 2016, immediately following the public hearing for the Home Energy Assistance Program Rule changes that is scheduled to start at 9:30 pm.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE
Please take note that, pursuant to 38 MRSA, Sections 413 and 414-A, Coldbrook Energy, Inc. of 809 Main Road North, Hampden, Maine intends to file a wastewater discharge permit application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The application is for the discharge of 1.6 million gallons per day (MGD) of hydrostatic test waters and 530 gallons per minute (GPM) of treated stormwater runoff to the Penobscot River in Hampden, Maine.
The application will be filed on or about June 15, 2016 and will be available for public inspection at DEP's Augusta office during normal business hours. A copy may also be seen at the municipal office in Hampden, Maine.
A request for public hearing or request that the Board of Environmental Protection assume jurisdiction over this application must be received by the DEP, in writing, no later than 20 days after the application is found acceptable for processing, or 30 days from the date of this notice, whichever is longer. Requests shall state the nature of the issue(s) to be raised. Unless otherwise provided by law, a hearing is discretionary and may be held if the Commissioner or the Board finds significant public interest or there is conflicting technical information.
During the time specified above, persons wishing to receive copies of draft permits and supporting documents, when available, may request them from DEP. Persons receiving a draft permit shall have 30 days in which to submit comments or to request a public hearing on the draft.
Public comments will be accepted until a final administrative action is taken to approve, approve with conditions or deny this application. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Town of Orrington is accepting bid proposals for a police cruiser. Bid specifications may be obtained by calling Jon Carson at (207) 825-4178.
Bids must be for a full to mid sized vehicle, suitable for police patrol activities. The package must include: Standard police package, 4 door vehicle, automatic transmission, full power package option, white in color, rubber floor coating, and spotlight. Bids may include front wheel, rear wheel, four wheel or all wheel drives. Bid preferences: Chevy Caprice, Dodge Charger, Chevy Tahoe, Ford Explorer, or similar equipped police vehicle. Vehicle must be equipped with hands free (blue tooth). SUVs must include a backup camera. Please include estimated M.P.G. and approximate delivery time.
Bids must be received at the Orrington Town Office, 1 Municipal Way Orrington, ME 04474. Bids may arrive no later than 12:00 PM on July 8th, 2016. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Northern Maine Community College is currently seeking proposals for a wireless infrastructure redesign and equipment purchase. NMCC enrolls about 1200 students and continues to expand; the College also has extended its services and wireless network availability to its students, faculty, staff and guests. There continues to be increased demand for wireless access to campus resources and the Internet.
The request for proposals consists of two major items: the first being the plan for design/redesign of the system. The second part of the RFP will include recommendations for equipment that will fulfill the plan with the build out or replacement of current equipment.
The deadline for submission of proposal in response to this RFP is 2:00 pm, June 22, 2016. Any proposal received after this date will not be considered.
Each vendor who intends to submit a proposal in response to this RFP shall submit an "Intent to Respond - Wireless Infrastructure Redesign" via e-mail to Julie Clark at jaclark@nmcc.edu on or before June 13, 2016 at 9:00 am.

GLENBURN ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
The Town of Glenburn's Annual Town Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, June 14th & 15th. The secret ballot portion of the town meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at the Glenburn Municipal Building, 144 Lakeview Road. Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. to elect, by secret ballot, the following: Two members to the Town Council for a three-year term each, two members to the School Committee for a three-year term each and one member to the School Committee for a one year term. The other articles of business in the warrant, including the articles for the proposed 2016-2017 school budget and town budget, shall take place on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Glenburn School Gym, 991 Hudson Road.
The official mil rate has yet to be determined since it will be contingent upon what is approved by the voters at the Annual Town Meeting and what the assessor determines is the change in the Town's overall evaluation; however the current estimated overall mil rate could be between 19.00 to 21.00.
